How we label jobs
Every listing comes straight from the company's own careers system (Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, Workable, SmartRecruiters, Recruitee, Workday and company job feeds). We don't repost from aggregators, there are no paid placements, and every "Apply" button goes to the employer's own posting.
Eligibility labels
| Worldwide | The posting says anywhere / worldwide / any country. |
|---|---|
| Open to MY-SEA | Malaysia, Singapore, Southeast Asia, APAC or Asia is listed as an allowed location. |
| APAC single-country | Remote, but only within one APAC country (e.g. India, Australia, Japan). |
| EMEA / Americas / US-only | Remote, but limited to that region. US-only includes "must be authorised to work in the US". |
| Region-restricted | Our manual review found a location limit the posting's location field didn't show. |
| Unclear | The posting gives no location rule. Ask the recruiter before applying. |
Job families
Most roles are infrastructure (DevOps, SRE, platform, cloud, network, sysadmin, security ops). Since October 2026 we also list software QA & test roles (QA engineers, SDETs, test automation, quality engineers), marked with a QA badge and filterable with #qa. Within infra, systems engineer and sysadmin roles (Linux/Windows systems engineers, system administrators, IT systems engineers) carry a SysEng badge and can be filtered with #systems; embedded, hardware, pre-sales and software "distributed systems" roles are not counted. Product roles (product managers, product owners, technical PMs, product leads, heads/directors of product, product ops) carry a Product badge and can be filtered with #product; product marketing, design, analyst and project/program manager roles are not included. Non-software QA (manufacturing, clinical, compliance, call-centre) is left out, as are talent pools and freelance crowd-testing gigs.
How it's built
Labels come from the location field, then the job description, then a manual review of unclear roles. On a hand-checked sample, the automatic labels were right 54 of 55 times. Roles that are hybrid or on-site are left out. When a company posts the same role once per country, we show it once with all the countries listed.
"Posted X days ago" uses the date the company's system reports. "New this week" means the role appeared since our previous refresh.
